Frequently Asked
How Does Tuition and Registration Work?
Monthly tuition is based on how many times your child’s class meets in a given month.
The majority of classes will meet four times per month, however, classes may meet more frequently or fewer times depending on holidays and gym closures. Tuition is as follows:
$27.25 per 50-minute class
$17.00 per 30-minute class
Please be mindful that tuition will fluctuate from one month to the next to accurately reflect how many times your child’s class meets.
There is an annual $49 registration per family that is used to cover insurance costs. With that, you also get our Tiny Tumbler Perks- priority class enrollment access, first access to special events, and a Happy Gym t-shirt on your first day!
Enrollment is ongoing and is charged monthly, so you don’t have to worry about re-enrolling every month. Tuition is charged on the first Monday of each month.
You can enroll at any time. If you join mid-month, you will be prorated for your first month of class. After the first month, you will charged at our monthly rate.
We account for holidays and planned studio closures in our yearly schedule. We are closed for four weeks annually, making our studio open for 48 weeks, (averaging out to four weeks/month).
The weeks are we closed are as follows:
- Thanksgiving Break: November 25th - December 1st
- Winter Break: December 22th - January 5th
- Spring Break: March 24th - 30th
- Summer Break: June 30th - July 6th
We will also be closed Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day, Halloween evening October 31st, and Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th.
Do you offer makeup classes?
The tuition you pay secures your child’s spot in class the month in which it is paid. We offer one make up per month, space permitting.
A make up class may be scheduled prior to a missed class if you know ahead of time your child will miss class (such as a planned vacation).
Make up class tokens will remain on your account for 1 month following the date of the absence.
Make up classes can not be used as credit toward tuition.
Make up classes are not guaranteed. Availability is based on current enrollment and maintaining safe class ratios.
You must be actively enrolled to use your make up class token recorded in your account.
Make up classes are scheduled with our hospitality team, or you can login and schedule them via your account.
Do you have trial classes?
We do not offer trail lessons at this time.
How do we enroll in class?
Enrollment can be completed online through our website, by phone, or in-person at our studio. Please fill out the necessary forms and provide any required documentation.
What if we want to drop our spot in class?
If you would like to drop, please notify our hospitality staff by at least the 25th of the month in order to discontinue classes for the following month. (Ex: if you’d like to drop for February, you’d need to notify us by Jan. 25).
We do not accept putting in a drop date in your account. This must be submitted in writing to hey@happygymdenver.com.
As of the 26th of the month, you are committed for the following month and tuition fees will be posted.
What should we bring to class?
Please bring a waterbottle with your child’s name on it. No food is permitted in the gym.
What should we wear to class?
Gymnasts should wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.
Acceptable Happy Gym fashion: Shorts, t-shirt, leggings, sweatpants, tank tops, leotards.
Hair: Please pull long hair into a ponytail, away from the face so it does not get caught in equipment or distract gymnasts.
Footwear: Participants wear bare feet in the gym.
Please avoid: Any clothing with buttons, zippers, oversize sweatpants, jewelry and tutu’s (these get in the way of gymnastics skills and when coaches are spotting).
Can my child’s sibling come to class?
Unfortunately, we can't accommodate siblings in classes (unless they're in a wrap/ergo). For safety reasons, we need to keep our ratios in compliance with USAG guidelines. We know this can be challenging when you have babies in tow, but it truly is a safety compliance issue that we must adhere to.
Is one caregiver with two children permitted in WeeOnes or Superstars & Sidekicks?
Yes, this works as long as both children are actively enrolled in the age-appropriate class together, the caregiver is up for the challenge and keeps each child within arm’s reach, and the participants are safely able to complete class.
Our current class time no longer works for us, can we switch?
Sure! Your child can transfer classes at any time as long as there are openings available in a class with equivalent age and skills requirements.
If your preferred class is full, you can be added to the waitlist and a staff member will contact you when a spot opens up.
I’m IN! Can we join mid-month?
Sure! Your child can join at any time during the month. Tuition will be prorated based on the start date.
